Project overview

The product:

Lara's Bakery is a local business in Des Moines, IA; they make traditional Mexican bakery products. They have competitive pricing for families and local small businesses. The owner's goal is to have an ordering app for old and new customers.

The problem:

Bakery’s customer needs a faster ordering option and have an account where they can save orders for later use.

The goal:

Make a simple and faster use bakery app, with account preferences where the user can save orders.

My role:

UX Designer; creating an app from concept to final product design.

Responsibilities:

Elaborate and conduct a UX research, create wireframes, design low and high fidelity prototypes; and make usability studies.

UI Design for Nintendo Switch game ( Minecraft Dungeons Mod )

About the Project

As the UX Designer for this project, I was very excited to work on this venture to deliver a new case study, wireframe, and UI mockups; based on the game Minecraft Dungeons. The primary goal was to understand the process of UX and UI for this game. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• UX and UI Designer • Create UI Mockups • Conduct the usability test and collect feedback • Complete the paper prototype • Create a wireframe. • Create UI mockups for each wireframe.

Timeline:

8 weeks

Challenges:

• Conduct a new usability test for a game currently on the market. • Collect new feedback and iterate the data with new wireframes and UI prototypes. 

Outcomes / As Results:

Through a comprehensive player’s journey, good usability testing, and thorough user feedback, I will ensure that I can develop an intuitive and enjoyable gamer experience. With the help of this process, I am confident that I will achieve this goal of delivering a fun and easy-to-use product.
